To provide affordable quality housing to the serving/retired employees of Central/State Government, PSUs, U T Administration, Autonomous Bodies, Corporations, Nationalised Banks etc.
To purchase, take on lease or otherwise acquire any building or land (whether free hold or lease hold) or building there on and erect, construct and build offices or alter any building or buildings for the purpose of an office or to pay for such land and building whether purchased , leased or acquired or built or constructed by the society either in cash or otherwise to purchase furniture, and other things necessary for office with all things which the committee may deem necessary or convenient for carrying out the business of the society for their members but the ownership of land shall always remain with the Society..
To promote, control & coordinate the development of housing schemes in all over Delhi, on no profit - no loss basis as a welfare measures to the Society.
The allotment of flat will be made by the society through draw for specific Floor and Flat number.
The scheme is governed by the extent rules& policy of DDA/Govt. of India, all condition of the land pooling policy scheme of DDA will be applicable on this group housing scheme.
Possession of Land, Houses and other movable and immovable property, sale purchase or renting of the same will be done by the society to fulfil its aims & objects.
Every application for admission must be made in writing and signed by the applicant shall be considered by the Governing Body at its first meeting after the application is received or soon thereafter as is practicable. A member shall submit to society a declaration to this effect that he/she abide by rules and regulations of the society.
To arrange & provide to its members all necessary common amenities and facilities relating to the up-keep of tenements according to Act, Rules and its Bye-laws.
To take up the matter with the competent authorities for common interest of the residents for providing and or improving upon common faculties in the area like-Park, Drainage, Roads, Street-light, Scavenging, Water & Electricity supplies, Banking, Post office, Bus Services facilities, Community Hall & Barat-Ghar, Milk Booth, Health Centre, Rationing shop, Mini-super Bazaar, Shopping facilities.
To arrange for the maintenance of the Estate of Society including roads, lanes and parks.
To establish and carry on its own account or jointly with individuals or institutions educational, physical, social and re-creative activities particularly of the benefits of its members and tenants.
To borrow loans for running the business of the Society and to arrange for the payments.
To approach the concerned authorities for redressal of grievances of members of society.
To make correspondence in lawful manner to arrange meetings, conferences, with the concerned authorities.
To arrange and establish medical and charitable dispensaries.
All the income earnings, movable, immovable properties of the society shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objects only set forth in the Memorandum of Association and no portion thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of profit, dividends, bonus in any manner whatsoever to the present or past member of the society or to any persons claiming through any one or more of the present or past member. No member of the society shall have any personal claim on any moveable or immoveable properties of the society or make any profit whatsoever by virtue of his/her membership.
To publish book, magazines and other publications for the promotion, protection and advancement of residents.
To disseminate information of the Government Rules, policies notification among and sweeping etc. for the association.
To help and assist poor and needy residents and their families during emergencies such as flood, war, earthquake and rains.
To receive and collect any gift, subscriptions and donations either in cash or in any kind or acquire by and other lawful ways and means and open the same in fulfilment of all or any other aims and objects of the society, the income and properties of the society shall be applied solely for promotion and fulfilment of the aims and object of the society. If any person wants to contribute, donate or give subscription, the same shall be spent towards the promotion of the particular objects only.,
To open found establish promote, set up, run, maintain, arrange finance, support and/or help the various community development programs/activities and also construct and develop the community halls, Charitable Dispensaries, Hospitals Libraries and other buildings/institution for use and welfare for the residents/general public.
To arrange and organize various kinds of Welfare programs e.g. Vocational Education, Entertainment, lectures, Games etc. for children, working men & women.
To do such other things/acts/activities which are necessary and which may be incidental or conductive to the attainment of any of the object of the Society.
These rules have been drawn up to give a perception of the task and an understanding of the organisation‘s commitment to them and their own obligation in this matter.
